Gun Control

Conservatives are good about arguing against gun control. The second ammendment protects an individual right keep and bear arms. Also people can argue they would want a gun for protection if there was an intruder in there household and them and there family was in danger, it is also argued that sometimes police do not make it on time, having your own gun would be convenient.

Liberals argue that the reason why all these people are getting killed by guns..drive by shootings, school shootings is because there is not enough laws restricting guns.

Conservative and Liberal Views On Gay Marriage

Conservatives are against gay marriage for several reasons.
1. The main function of marriage is pro-creation
2. All the main world religions, christianity, buddhism, judism, hinduism, islam teach that homosexual behavior is sinful and wrong.
3. In a democracy, the will of the majority must rule. Because most adults are currently opposed to same sex marriage.
4. It is also foridden by the bible.

Liberals think that this is wrong and people should be able to do whatever they want, they do not bother anyone and people come to the U.S to be free.

Conservative and liberal views on abortion

I learned that liberals are for abortion and abortion was legalized by the supreme court. I also learned that one of the arguements for liberals was that what if a girl got raped and she became pregnant would an abortion be legal than?

I also learned that convervatives think it is "morally wrong to have an abortion." They are against it. They think it is considered murder and it would be the same as taking someone off life support. They think the person should take responsibility and have the baby.

Favorite Song by Eminem

My favorite song by Eminem would be White America. This is true because not only is the back round music very appealing to me but the lyrics may look simple but the meaning behind all those words are so powerful. There is a much deeper meaning to this song and he is talking about how it does not matter what skin color you have, anyone can do somthing they want to do. Thus Eminem being one of the best rappers and him being white.

Marshall Matters

Marshall Matters known as Eminem is a very talented rap artist. He has sold over seventy million albums world wide. One of the top selling rap artists ever. He became very popular after meeting producer Dr.Dre. Eminem is praised and despised for controversial lyric. I picked this rap artist because I find his music very funny and I also just like a lot of his lyrics and who he works with. He demonstrates values of our society by performing in concerts and making controversial music, the media loves what he does and so do many teenagers and many adults. Not only this but he is one of few famous white rap artists.

Commentary on Movies about Elvis

Elvis Presley was the king of rock and roll, or "The King." He shocked many people with his dance moves and his music. He became famous by going to Sun Studios in Memphis, Tenessee and playing his music. By Spring of 1956, he was popular nation-wide and teenagers would flock to his concerts. Elvis was not only a singer but he was also an actor and star in the film Love Me Tender.
